Change Your Profile Picture
Login to your First Choice account with your email address and the password you created.
On your Home Page in the top left corner a blank figure or your current profile picture will appear.
Underneath of this icon, you will see the option to Change My Picture. Select this option and choose the file you wish to use.
Create Different Session Types (ie. intake session, diagnostic evaluation, therapy session)
Session types are required before you can schedule a session. These session types are what tell the software how long the session will be and how much you will charge.
There are two ways to create session types:
- Go to Settings > Session Types. From there, click the Add Session Type link, and enter your Session Type's description, rate, and duration in minutes. You will also decide here if this session type will be publicly viewable by your patients or not. Remember to click the Update button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
- You can also add new session types while scheduling a session by going to Manage Schedule and clicking on Schedule Session. From there, click the Add New Session Typebutton. Enter your Session Type's description, rate, duration, and click the green Create Session Type button.
All the session types you create will appear in the drop-down when scheduling a session. You can select from the drop-down to choose the correct session type for that session or begin typing the name of the session type, and select.
Reset your Password
Navigate to the login page and click Forgot your Password? link under the login window. Enter your Email Address and click the Reset Password button. An email will then send to you instructing you to reset your password. If you don't see the email, please make sure to check your Spam folder.
If you are still having problems resetting your password, please call support at (888) 234-0673 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can set a temporary password and instruct you how to change this once logged into your account.
If you have new notifications a red circle with the number of notifications you have will appear at the very top of the portal, to the right of the “bell” figure. You can hover over this red circle, or the “bell” figure itself, and a drop down list will appear with all of your recent notifications.
You also have the opportunity to get these notifications via email.
